 Product integrity and consistency are key words to Mr Snow, the owner of The Meat Shop Wolverhampton Ltd.
Those
were the words needed when Mr Snow entered a recent competition that
was run by the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) and his local
meat supplier Weddel Swift.
Only retailers that serve
lamb that meets the standards of EBLEX's Quality Standard Mark scheme
and that are customers of Weddel Swift were eligible to enter.
The prize was a Quality Standard Mark branded refrigerated van.
Mr
Snow, who was just about to replace his current van was delighted to
receive his prize and is seen here with Jon Howes and John Potts
Manager and Assistant Manager of Weddel Swift.
'This
is a fantastic prize. We are keen supporters of English beef and lamb
and the Quality Standard Mark. We are traditional butchers who believe
in the welfare and quality of the animals and the meat we prepare. This
van means we can continue to ensure that the quality of the product
